Hydrotherapy uses the application of water in one of its three forms - liquid, steam, and ice, to produce therapeutic benefit. It can be used as a treatment on its own or in combination with Massage Therapy. Hydrotherapy has been used as an effective therapeutic method of treatment for centuries in many countries around the world. In addition to the following treatments, we may also use some hydrotherapy treatments during your massage such as the application of a moist heat thermaphore, ice massage, ice pack, or a cold wrap or compress. We may also give you some hydrotherapy home care treatments to do for yourself between your massage appointments for additional therapeutic benefit to you, such as a contrast hand or foot bath or dry skin brushing, etc. depending what is appropriate for you and your health.
