HEALTH UPDATE November 29, 2022:


If you are not feeling well: Please cancel or reschedule your appointment online at, or call (250)655-1450 and leave a message and stay home if you are unwell. Face masks are no longer mandatory, however, our therapists continue to wear masks for your protection. As always, we continue to take extra precautions for your health and safety. 

HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE: For the safety of our staff and our patients that you (the patient) answer these questions to the best of your ability.

1.Are you experiencing any of the following: a fever, a new cough, a worsening chronic cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing?

2.Have you had close contact with anyone with acute respiratory illness in the past 14 days?

3.Do you have 2 or more of the following symptoms: Sore throat, runny nose/sneezing, nasal congestion, hoarse voice, difficulty swallowing, decrease or loss of sense of smell, chills, headaches, unexplained fatigue/malaise, diarrhea, abdominal pain, or nausea/vomiting?

4.If you are over 65 years of age are you experiencing any of the following: delirium, falls, acute functional decline, or worsening of chronic conditions?

If the response to any of the screening questions is yes, you cannot have a massage therapy treatment at this time. Call 811, go to or contact your physician for further guidance and advice. You can reschedule later after you are safe to be treated.

CLINIC ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS: We are continuing to limit the front counter/waiting room to one client at a time. In order to facilitate this when arriving at the clinic, please remain in your vehicle or wait outside as the clinic door will be locked, until we call, text or come and get you to start your massage. 

Upon entry into the clinic (and prior to leaving) please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer at the station by the front door (where the water cooler used to be).

ENHANCED CLEANING AND DISINFECTING: Comprehensive cleaning/disinfecting procedures and protocols are in place to ensure a low risk environment for your and our safety. We are currently using Oxygenic for cleaning/disinfecting, which is an ecological green disinfectant that was developed to combine the power of peroxide with biodegradable emulsifying detergents to provide fantastic cleaning and deodorizing results. EcoLogoTM certified, fully biodegradable, Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) approved, as a disinfectant kills 99.9% of bacteria, fungi and viruses, as a sanitizer, kills 99.9% of bacteria, biodegradable emulsifying detergents. Canadian Drug Identification Number (DIN) #: 02497271 Active Ingredient: Hydrogen Peroxide - 7.23% Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) Approval for hard surface cleaning.

Tsehum Harbour Massage & Hydrotherapy Ltd. has been providing quality healthcare to Saanich Peninsula communities since it was first designed, built and opened in September 1997, 25 years ago! We have an excellent, knowledgeable and skilled team of four Registered Massage Therapists, who in total comprise 73 years of hands on therapy experience!

Clinic Etiquette

Please arrive on time for your appointment. You will find the door locked, so wait outside or in your car until we text, phone or come to get you. Have a face mask ready to wear when entering the clinic. If you do not have one, we can supply one to you. If you arrive late, your appointment will still end at the scheduled time to be fair to our next client. Please be respectful to others by turning your cell phone off or to silent and keep in mind that while waiting for your appointed time that others are enjoying a massage so please keep your voices soft.


Your time has been reserved for you specifically. Our online booking system will send you reminder of your appointment two days in advance with a Covid Health Questionnaire to complete. You can also sign up to receive a text message to be delivered three hours before your appointment time. The system will allow cancellations or changes up to 24 hours prior to your appointment, either cancel online or telephone the clinic. If less than 24 hours is given and we are unable to fill the appointment, you will be charged a fee. Please notify us by telephone if you find it necessary to cancel with short notice. We do often have a list of people wishing to have an appointment and may be able to fill the spot if you let us know as soon as possible. Do NOT come for your appointment if you are sick in any way.

There is free convenient parking for three vehicles right in front of the clinic, as well as two dedicated spaces at the left side of the building marked CLINIC. If you are arriving in a wheelchair van with a side or rear ramp, the best place to park for easy loading if they are available, is in the left two side parking spaces marked CLINIC. When parking, please keep in mind that there is space for three vehicles if everyone parks accordingly. Additional street parking is available on Harbour Road and around the corner on Resthaven Drive.
